Before the trip, I downloaded all the episodes of Serial to my iPhone. “This podcast is crazy popular,” I told the Snook. “It’s about a crime or something.” Needless to say, we got completely and instantly hooked. You’ve all heard it, right? If not, get on that. And then check out the subreddit. And then leave a comment and tell me who you think really did it.

My current theory is that Adnan and Jay did it together, and then Jay ratted him out (Prisoner’s Dilemma style). I just can’t see any other explanation. Jay was clearly involved since he knew where the car was.

Jay absolutely had something to do with it. He knew too much. I find it hard to believe that Adnan got to the Best Buy and killed her I. The timeframe they say, but I just don’t know.

Yeah, that 2:36 call was clearly NOT the “I killed her” call. So I think that whole 21 minute time frame goes out the window.
I really wanted Adnan to be innocent, but I can’t think of a scenario where he would be. It’s just too implausible.

I waver between whether he’s innocent or guilty. The whole phone timeline thing, I was convinced it was Jay, until the call to Nisha (?sp). No one other than Adnan had any reason to call her.

It was the MailKimp girl (see here http://www.thebolditalic.com/articles/6330-charts-for-people-obsessed-with-serial). I had theories, but every new podcast blows them out of the water. I’m going with random third party.
