Misery. At one point tonight, I think I felt as physically bad as I've ever felt in my life. I was sitting on a bench late at night and miles from home, shivering in the cold and rain, having just thrown up in a garbage can, praying that I would just open my eyes and be home in my bed. My stomach has been hurting for a few days, but I thought I was well enough today to attend a friend's barbecue. I was wrong. But don't worry. The Snook is taking good care of me. He got me home, and I'm so relieved to be here I could weep. I'm gonna go sleep for a long time and hopefully I'll be in better shape next time you hear from me.

oh, kris! you're breaking my heart! seriously, that just sounds awful. drink lots of fluids and let him take extra good care of you. get well soon, girl. :)

Awww, girls are the best. Thanks you guys. I'm still a little wobbly, but I slept a lot today and managed to get some food down. Talking to my Mommy on the phone helped too. :)

Hey--guys can offer sympathy, too! (To paraphrase Homer: "What's wrong, Marge? Are you in some sort of physical pain, which is the only kind of pain that men can understand?") Seriously, Kris--best wishes for a speedy recovery. Make those long-distance calls if that's what it takes, dammit! :-)

Whoa, i think i had a flash back to my childhood when i said that...LOL. seriously, do not MOVE. i've been there, and i know how even your skin must hurt. I hope you get better really fast. xxx :)
