Awww! Thanks, Kris! I loved my updo; my hairstylist is an absolute genius. Believe me, even though I kept everything small, I still paid out heartily to look so nice for my Big Day.

I don't usually take good pictures, so I needed all the help I could get. I wanted to have pictures that I'd WANT to show our friends and family. :)

congratulations. the up-do is truly lovely. i have no idea what i'm gonna do with my hair, especially since i hate hairspray with a passion.

Thanks, Mia! I felt like I was glowing... It was a really, really nice ceremony. I haven't been happier or more nervous in my life! ;)

Kristen: I know it seems otherwise, but I didn't have too terribly much hairspray in my hair. I told my hairstylist that I hated hairspray, and abhorred the whole severely-slicked-down updo craze. I told her I wanted something that looked soft, feminine, and almost casual, as if I'd pinned it up myself. So, she spritzed on a little bit of hairspray just to get my hair "dirty" so the curls would set nice, and then proceeded to split the curls, tie them into big knots, and shove about 50 bobby pins into the knots to keep everything in place. It wasn't painful at first, but by about 10:00pm I felt as if I was in the middle of a bad migraine. As soon as I managed to pull all of those pins out, however, my headache went away. Well worth it.

Good luck with your day, too, Kristen! Are you going to post some pictures from the ceremony?

Moire - that was part of the compliment :o) - I think your hairdo looks soft and natural instead of hairsprayed to high heaven! Thanks for the tips.

Yes, yes, there will be pictures of everything. Though I'm guessing I probably won't be the one taking them, so might take a while longer for me to get them on to the web. Andrea (ex-flatmate and fellow blogger) will be at the wedding, so I'm sure she'll take and upload pictures too.
