Trivia Update: Despite kicking ass in the first round, we dropped to third by the end of the competition. Whatever. We did manage to win 4 out of 5 mini-jackpots though, with yours truly coming up with two. (I correctly identified "Robert Carlyle" as the star of "Ravenous" and "The World is Not Enough" and the song "3 AM" as the source of the lyric "She says it's cold outside and she hands me a raincoat.") Question of the night: What are the first five books of the New Testament?

ahhh, the pentateuch... genesis, exodus, leviticus, numbers, and deuderonomy (sp?). in order, too, i think. thank you, sister janet of junior-year religion, who hammered that bible study shit into my head. we had a scripture question at our quiz tuesday, too... who escaped from the lions den?

Daniel. Was the question referring to the pentateuch or the first five books of the NEW testament? The second one's a lot harder...

oooh duh! poor attention skills by kelly! i have no clue on the new testament... i thought acts of the apostles and the 4 gospels were towards the end of the book...? oh, and daniel is correct!

It was NEW Testament, ding dong. :)

Matthew, Mark, Luke, John, and Acts of the Apostles is correct.

I knew the answer but I was thrown off by kel's answer thinking I had the Old Testament and New Testament mixed up. Next time I'll trust my instincts, maybe...
