Exactly! When I first heard this from a co-worker, I got all defensive and accused him of reading it in some anti-American e-mail forward. Then I looked it up and he was right! Stupid thieving Mr. Bell...

I first learned about Meucci from the Godfather III. In it they present the "Meucci award" to Michael C. and he asks who Meucci was.
