  4. Very good. The original quiz was a spreadsheet that would tell you if you got them correct or not. The only ones you would’ve missed were 17 and 30. I think the centilitre one might be technically correct, but there’s a simpler answer. I think you’re reaching with the cricket ball though. 🙂

And yours was right too, Dad!

  5. if you really get bored, try:

    http://www.tysknews.com/LiteStuff/mental_flexibility_2.htm

    60 of em 😉

    ———
Still stuck on a few above before I work on the big list though. 5 to go then I’m done.

  6. Can’t fill in all of Kristen’s blanks, but here are a few:

    6. 66 Books of the Bible
    7. ?
    8. 13 Stripes in the United States Flag
    11. 5 Toes on a Foot
    12. 90 Degrees in a Right Angle
    13. 3 Blind Mice (See How They Run)
    17. 100 Cents in a Dollar
    29. ? another bible one?
    30. 64 Squares in a Checker Board
    34. 15 Men on a Dead Man’s Chest

  7. Oh crap! I left the number out of 7! It’s supposed to be 52 C in a P (WJs). Sorry… Other than that, yours are all correct, Tricia!

29 was the one that took us the longest. A hint: HB does *not* stand for Holy Bible.

  8. Ahh, well now I get 29: 52 Cards in a Pack (Without Jokers)

  9. You mean 7. 🙂 This is getting confusing!

  10. I’d like to know how long you took getting your answers, MENSA IQ tests have time limits! Great way to waste time though, it’s too hot to work here.

  11. 23 P of C in the H B – 23 pairs of chromosomes in the human body. hey, which ones couldn’t you get? i LOVE these things (although i have seen a lot of them b4 on a pub quiz)

  12. Between the two of us we got ’em all in about an hour. I was tearing my hair out over “13=unlucky for some”. It’s a saying they have here (from Bingo) and even though it was the first thing I thought of, I couldn’t get the stupid spreadsheet to accept it (since you had to type “13 is unlucky for some”). Stupid equals sign. I couldn’t get the chromosomes either. I was stuck on the idea that HB was the Holy Bible.

  13. Couldn’t get the damn spreadsheet to accept #13 – “32 is the Temperature in Degrees Fahrenheit at which Water Freezes” should obviously be the answer, but I get a false from the spreadsheet.

  14. Hmmm… You haven’t mispelled anything there, Peter, and that’s definitely the answer. I dunno. Maybe it’s the capitalization?

  15. This was a good one. There were two that I would never have got. 13 Stripes to the US Flag and 15 M on a DMC. Still dont know what the last one is.

  16. The answer to that last one is up in the comments above, Penny.

  17. I have had the spreadsheet recently sent to me, and rather than 16. Being 100 C in a D – it is actually 100 C in a R, therefore it is not 100 Cents in a Dollar, and it does not accept it… any ideas?

  18. I only have 2 left to get… any help?

    No. 29 which is… 64 S on a CB (I can’t get it to accept 64 Squares on a Checker Board)

    & No 26. 9 L of a C
    ???

  19. No 26. 9 Lives of a Cat. No 16. 100 cents in a rand (u have to be south african to get that one or know your forex). No 29. 64 squares on a chess board

  20. For future reference everyone, every single answer is given in the various comments above. So quit asking for them! 🙂

  21. Just got the last one – 23 chromosomes. Also stuck on Holy Bible for HB. Lots of fun

    Bernadette

  32. hey folks – as a medical student, 23 P of C in the HB isnt 23 pairs of chromo’s – I think you might be closer if it were 23 parables of Christ in the Holy Bible- which is acurate! Hope this helps! Rhodri

  33. Nope. The human body one actually works on the spreadsheet, whether it’s accurate or not!
