Note to self: Investigate using this Smarter Image Hotlinking Prevention method. I've been having trouble (yet again) with message board dweebs stealing my images. This time it's "Merry Christmas from the Hoff." I'm having fun with them, though...

I had someone on fark hotlink to an image on my server. I usually use an old cgi script, but recently I have been forgetting to use the path through it. Oops.

I don't find it a problem myself but depending on the hosting package you use, sometimes there is actually built in hotlinking prevention. I know cpanel type backends have it but its been so long since i used any others.
