I'm being all schmoopy over at Tara D's site.

It's always hard to put stuff like that out there, because I know how sucky it is when you're single and you just haven't found the right person yet, and I don't want to seem like a big braggy bragger or anything. It's just that I was wandering through the wilderness of singledom for a long time, and it seemed to me that I'd never find anyone I liked enough to spend a day with, let alone the rest of my life. And then BAM! Everything just clicked. And it's made me a lot more optimistic and way less bitter about the whole romance thing. I mean, if I - at the height of my nerdy, chubby, overly-bitter-feminist angst stage - can find happiness and companionship, anybody can! :)

And besides, TD, your post was AWESOME. It summed up pretty much all of the reasons I decided to get married in the first place. To tell the world that you choose somebody for always, and for them to choose you right back? That really is the awesomest high-five ever, and I loved that you put it into those words. It really is something to be incredulously grateful for.

But dude, if I didn't have the Snook, I'd totally marry you.

AWWWW!

i just wrote this over there, and hopefully you'll go... but, i'm glad you see the intention of the post rather than the unintended bridget jones-iness of the post. i don't feel like that on my worst day.
