Dear god. First home payments hit $3000 per month in Sydney. That's nearly twice what we pay in rent! See, this is why I don't want to buy a house.

Buy in Hong Kong... a 2 BR place in Sha Tin will set you back about HK$300k which equates to about AU$47k...

If I were gonna do something like that, I'd probably move back to Indiana. Land is cheeeeeap. Of course, you have to live in the middle of nowhere...
