Food movies. Mmm, food. (Superficiality and hedonism being my only defense against the fear of one's own mortality.)

Wot? No Iron Chef? There's a Stephen Chow Film "God of Cookery" which is basically a dramatised/comedy rip-off of the concept. Not bad.

I have Tampopo, Eat Drink Man Woman and The Wedding Banquet on DVD if you want to borrow. I had a bit of a delusional scheme to try and lair a young lady-friend back to my apartment and seduce her with absinthe chocolate mousse and Tampopo on the couch.

My heroic attempt to impress the ladies... has FAILED. *sigh*

I noticed Big Night in the comments in a couple of places. That is an Italian food gastronomic orgasm.

Have you and Snookums seen that one Kris?

Oh yeah. I think about it whenever I see spaghetti listed as a side dish on a menu. :)

This is where my weblog goes to die. Every post has a permanent home, so this is where you should link if you're so inclined.
"RunningBlog" refers to posts related to running that are cross-posted over at geekgirlrunner.

"Moblog" refers to posts and images posted directly from my mobile phone.

"PW Blog" refers to posts recovered from my very first weblog, which dealt with news related to my college dorm.
