web-goddess: Animated Gifness

Yesterday they all mocked my animated gif. "Is that all it does? Can't you make it move any faster?" Today I had twenty new Internet orders. TWENTY. And they're all for the clearance stuff.

I am a marketing genius.

Oh no, it is. They put it up two days ago and we had a huge surge. But that was dying down... so I'm attributing this solely to the gif. :)

And I wanted it to be slow! So that you wouldn't realize it was an animated gif, but then you might see it move out of the corner of your eye, and be like, "What's that? Oh wow. They've got stuff on CLEARANCE!"

What software did you use? I found some freeware to do the baby gif with, but the colours are crap :(

Adobe ImageReady. It was kind of pain, actually. Not as simple as the last time I remember making one (which was several years ago).
