*my friends striking look exactly like that, so good work. » tara d. [www] » 2008-01-29 02:21:08 Outstanding! I want it. I only have 3 more movies to see to make my educated guesses. » Jenny [www] » 2008-01-29 04:02:23 w00t! » Bex [www] » 2008-01-29 09:35:45 Haha. I should've thought to have you critique the design earlier for authenticity, TD. :) » Kris [www] » 2008-01-29 14:46:35 Well done Kris - what a Cool Monkey. Don't forget the apostrophe in Monkey's when you get your printer up and going. » Kate » 2008-01-29 21:58:57 Shouldn't the apostrophe be after the "s" in monkeys? » Kel » 2008-01-30 04:32:12 Actually, that was intentional. I modelled mine directly on the one the writers are actually carrying. » Kris [www] » 2008-01-30 07:31:19 So, Jeff and I go to an Oscar party every year where we're supposed to "dress up." Everyone else dresses in formal/cocktail attire; we dress as movie characters. This is at least the second (maybe third) time our planned costumes match the sock monkey's. We were gay cowboys two years ago. While I was considering a Juno inspired costume this year (pregnant Trish, running-gear-clad Jeff), writers-striking was much more fun and conversation provoking.
Anyway, I really want to WIN that sock monkey this year! » Tricia [www] » 2008-01-30 17:27:45 Hi Kris,
I haven't seen any of the nominated films -- the price of living in New Zealand, where many of them haven't even made it to theaters yet -- so I scientifrandomly chose the first title/name listed in each category. But I'm rooting for the Coen brothers, Dude. » Brian [www] » 2008-01-30 19:25:00 OMG that's adorable! » mimsie [www] » 2008-01-31 00:41:08 Leave a Comment Please note: As this post is over two weeks old, your comment will not appear until it has been moderated.
