The SMH stages a race to prove what a lot of us already know: traffic in Sydney SUCKS. It also makes me want to buy a scooter.

Scooters rock! I've had a scooter since I was 15, then upgraded to a car when I was old enough to drive. Now I'm back to a scooter and/or motorbike because of the costs of parking in the CBD and petrol. Well worth it!

When we were in Glebe it was as fast for Clare to ride her bike to Westmead as to get the bus + train option. and we were pretty well served. (That was an 18-19mile ride).
