Dude, is that Molly Walker from Heroes in the new Miley Cyrus video*? She’s the first girl they cut to after Miley starts the song (with that weird “Shah!” noise). I can’t find any confirmation on the Internets, but that’s totally her, right?

No, don’t think so. I’m so pleased I’m not a teen. At least I know that that song sucked. But I guess some how all the nasty teen songs I loved when I was 13 possibly lead me to the bands I loved as a 18 years old and hence shaped me… where will Miley lead them?

It’s her! I swear it. I read on one of her fan sites that she’s been in other music videos. Hm.
When I was home in Indiana it was 80’s weekend on one of the local stations. I was driving over to my Dad’s when “I Think We’re Alone Now” (the Tiffany version) came on… and it both completely rocked and sucked at the same time. It was like when your hands are cold and you put them under the faucet and for a minute you can’t tell if it feels excruciatingly hot or freezing cold. It was just like that, only mentally and with music.

I have to admit to owning the Rick Astley album on cassette. For the love of God, why? I do not know. I was going through a very bland 6 months. I believe there was a lot of beige, red an black in my wardrobe. Luckily the black won out and a developing obsession with Jim Morrison turned it all around. I think I have Mags from A-ha to thank for that one. Weird.
Still don’t think it’s her, but it’s v fast.
