Darling Harbour, 1985. Amazing photograph. I'm really looking forward to the Powerhouse's 80's exhibition.

I love the Powerhouse's 'Photo of the Day'I remember the transformation of Darling Harbour and the chaos and general decrepitude of the site when it was the 'Goods Yard'. I forget how much the city has changed and photos like this link me to the past.

A couple of years after that photo I remember the Navy was in town and had all their boats parked along the foreshore near the old shipping terminal. At the same time Cockle Bay had a number of rides there... they had a rollercoaster and everything! That photo did bring back some memories!
