Over on MetaFilter they're discussing Amish romance novels. No, really. The comments that most amused me were from people who'd eaten in "Amish" restaurants and who expressed surprise at the "Amish" girls wearing bonnets, dresses, and incongruous New Balance sneakers. I had to break it to them that they're probably not Amish.
