Patricia Neal has passed away from lung cancer at 84. She was Roald Dahl's first wife and the mother of his children. She had an amazing life. (Thanks to Christopher for the tip.)

I saw this in the smh this morning and had a moment's sadness. I remember the story of her first stroke, which she suffered when she was pregnant, and how Roald helped her recover from that.

Did you read this book, M-H? I could lend it to you if you're interested. I got the impression that she credits him for helping her through it, but that she really, really hated the way he went about it.
