Sock Monkey Tutorial
In this one I've got the monkey turned upside-down. You can clearly see that I've pinched the raw edges in together and I'm taking each stitch through both folded edges. It's no use trying to use pins here; the monkey is too puffy and they'll just get in your way. Try to keep your stitches small and tight and they won't show so much on the finished toy. When I'm finished, I generally knot the thread two or three times close to the surface and then go back down the last hole and come out somewhere else.
