Stella Mayhem

Stella McCartney Target Mayhem. Dude, maybe I won’t go to Bondi Junction tonight after all. (Link courtesy of Bex.)

Later: Holy crap. I guess there’s no point in going. They cleaned the place out. And get this:

The most popular items were McCartney’s much-hyped trench coat in grey and navy – just 6000 are available Australia-wide…

SOB. That’s what I wanted! If any of you happen to find youself in a Target that has the Stella trench in a size 14, BUY IT. I will reimburse you. Black is preferable, but I’ll take any.

  1. I wandered through my local Target (Tuggerah, Central Coast) at about 9.20am. There were a handful of women, with armfuls of clothes, in the section. No drama. No rush. But the shopassistants were saying they didn’t expect many clothes to be left at the end of the day. Not my style, so I just looked.

  2. I’m so over the whole thing.

  3. Humans are a bit disgraceful sometimes. I’m embarrassed

  4. What? Just as I actually start to take an interest in fashion, you’re over it? Say it isn’t so, Style Guru!

  5. EMBARRASSED alright. todays visit to bondi junction made me disgusted to see what women will do to get a cheap designer label. the range is truely beautifl, however the scramble over babies in prams, and older women screaming “get out of my F*#king way”, is enough to put me off the clothes!

  6. give it a day and it will be on ebay…

  7. A day? The dress is already listed – 160095114712

  8. helloooooo….cheap clothes made in china. what the?!?!

  9. LOL. eBay is now chockers with them. Twits. The idea is to keep them, with labels, until they are gone from the shops and from eBay. Then sell them. There’s always going to be a fashion wannabe who will fork out big bucks for a piece of material with a famous name attached.

  10. If you’re really serious, Target at Parramatta has what seems like the full range. The trench (which is silky, not what I would have expected at all) only comes in stone and navy blue, not black. Sizes are S, M & L. I didn’t try one on, but I could to give you an indication of what size you’d be.

The Target is in Westfield, which is right on top of the station. Target is at the other end, so about 5 minutes away. The train takes about 30 minutes from the city 🙂

  11. Hmm. Silky? Not so sure about that. I was sorta wanting a traditional trench, which is what I was hoping it was. I wouldn’t be able to get out to Paramatta til, like, Sunday anyway. I may just wait til I get back from my holiday in April and see if Broadway’s still got any. But thanks for the info!
