I had a fantastic time presenting at #ignitesydney last night. Thanks to the organisers for giving me the opportunity! I was incredibly impressed and inspired by my fellow speakers too - they all did an amazing job. (And thanks to @halans for the photos!)

I went to get my hair blow-dried on a work day. It felt terribly grown-up.

Two photos of me last night at Ignite Sydney as taken by the very talented Jean-Jacques Halans (http://about.me/halans). I was the first speaker on the night, and I was more nervous than I usually get when speaking these days. It went phenomenally well, way better than even my best rehearsal. The one thing I hadn’t counted on was the laughs, so working them in while keeping the timing going with the slides was a challenge. The audience response was fantastic, and I had several people stop me afterwards – even out on the street as we were leaving – telling me how much they enjoyed it. Yay! One down, one to go.
