Any of my buddies have a Foxtel login they can let me use so I can stream the football game from ESPN? 🙂

@witty_knitter I’m workin’ on one right now, so hang on for a few minutes. Thanks… 🙂

Streaming radio of BCS game – I haz it. Thanks to those who offered to help!

Well, crap. Alabama touchdown on opening drive.

My Grandma Veva predicted a bloodbath. She may turn out to be right.

    @AusVintageGrrl All good. Thanks…

35-0. Ouch. Glad I didn’t take the day off for this. Also, can’t remove my ND hat since my hair was wet and it’ll look all weird. *sigh*

@drkknits At least we just scored once.

@toastman @Illdrinn While agree in spirit, being married to a Googler means he’s *always* my public interface to Google. Fringe benefit. 🙂

@eobeara @LeeanneField I booked in for MRI next week. Enough waiting, time to see if there’s something else wrong.

My Grandma Veva predicted a bloodbath. Notre Dame players “would go home in an ambulance.” Mind you, she’s an ND fan. I’m also starting to think she’s a psychic.

Commemorated ND’s loss by heading out into the furnace that is outside. (It hit 108 two hours ago.) This sort of heat always feels very Australian to me. I know we had hot days back home in Indiana, but never this dry or this windy. Stepping outside literally feels like the blast you get when you open a hot oven door. Crossing my fingers for all of you in bush fire prone areas…

The heat today (109F!) ruled out any ND wear beyond a cap. GO IRISH!

At Disney Parks, a Bracelet Meant to Build Loyalty (and Sales) – NYTimes.com – This sounds fascinating. I think it’s a great idea, privacy wonks be damned. If I was a kid and a robot bird addressed me by name my head would explode!

@mikeefreedom Definitely! As long as you’re not staring at the computer while you boogie. 🙂

Feminist rage rising. At least I’ve got more anecdotes the next time the family start asking why I haven’t had kids.

@Illdrinn We took six flights in the last three weeks – here, NZ, US – and I think I had to do the scanner in every single one. :-\

Sewists – I bought some Hawaiian print rayon to make a dress. I was thinking Oolong. Bad choice? Do I need to line rayon? With what?

@redambition Hahahahaha… halter dress? My boobs are laughing at you. We need a bra, and strapless ones SUCK.

@redambition @twelveeyes Mine has rubber strips to hold it up, but my skin is sensitive and I end up itching constantly. Not a Good Look.

Just informed guys on my office floor that we’ll be listening to the ND game tomorrow afternoon rather than music. They’re cool with that.

@randomknits WAIT, ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT MY RAYON QUESTION? BECAUSE I TOTES GOOGLED THAT. 😛

    @drkknits @randomknits About damn time.

@3rd_Gen_ I use ’em! I store knits and out of season bedding in them.

@Lackadazy I considered the Hobbit for about 2 seconds. A DOZEN DWARVES??

@cdeagle It sounds more impressive than 43. 🙂

@LeeanneField @eobeara I’ve hit one-year anniversary on my knee issue as well. Wish I was as upbeat about recovery!

Google had a good photographer at their Christmas party. You can hardly tell I’d been drinking for 6 hours!

    Stop saying lusty blow!

@misswired @the_snook Yes, he does! It actually belongs to @toastman, I believe.

Nice one, Hussey. As Richie said, he’s That Sort of cricketer.

We built the Space Shuttle today. http://t.co/H9UR8Qzc http://t.co/yvNW4uyH

Back to work, and trying out real-time bus info from TripView. Holy crap, it works! Utopia!

Forecast Tues is 43C / 109F. This means that in the space of one week, we’ve spanned 50C (122F) going from Chicago to Sydney. #roasting

@imdominating Which episode? There are a couple “filler” ones in there, more so in season 3 though.

Inbox zero achieved. Now I suppose I need to do some actual work!

@imdominating I knew it! That’s widely considered the worst ep ever. So you’re well into season 3 then?

@imdominating @drkknits You’ve been through the whole New Caprica storyline? That’s the bridge to Season 3. Also, my fave eps EVER.

@imdominating @drkknits Colonel Tigh with the eyepatch advocating suicide bombing. Just can’t get over that.

We bought a souvenir at the Space Center last month, and today we built it. NanoBlock shuttle FTW!

    It’s good to be home.

Holy crap. Back garden turned into a JUNGLE. Garden work now moved up priority list. Anybody got a good landscape contractor in Sydney?
