@KTunravels @Ascasewwen Haha, if you ever want any Dahl info, I’m your girl. (http://t.co/VknCVJxHhL = me.)
At @GA waiting for “Shaking up the tech world: addressing the gender gap” panel to begin!
Sitting next to @mitchelmore_j and @nickyringland at #womenintechSYD!
Testing! @nickyringland
Huh. Doug Chapman of Razorfish really does identify as feminist on his LinkedIn page. #impressed #womenintechSYD http://t.co/8zUBxxcqX4
…and he got emails asking if he was a lesbian. Of course. #womenintechSYD
Iranian coworker was right. Iran is crushing Aus in terms of female computer majors. (3rd & 4th bars) #womenintechSYD http://t.co/tyWVaUuXCW
I’m kind of freaked out that @mitchelmore_j is tweeting while she’s speaking on a panel. There must be a phantom tweeter. 🙂 #womenintechSYD
@SerriLaw Are you walking up Broadway right now? Just spotted you from the bus!

Mantra for the week: Your failure to plan is not my emergency.
@stufromoz That one’s good too. 🙂
To the girl on the bus with the Cantina Band song as her ringtone: You just made my night!
@gilmae I learn it and then forget it and then have to re-learn it every year. Curse of the industry.

My view right now: Much purr. Very snuggle. http://t.co/GztuTaiQmd
Me: “Hey, I think that works!” Rodd: “Do you have unit tests?” Me: “Why do you ask questions you already know the answer to?”
w-g: *crosses fingers* I think, but I’m not sure, that I managed to get auto tweeting to happen when I post… http://t.co/dHVfBTsHX4
@gilmae Yup. More hacking with Twitter API and javascript. Added it into my posting form. 🙂
@gilmae That work with a custom CMS? Only if it scraped somehow. Mine is optional though and allows customisation of tweet.
@gilmae Ah, I see. Yeah, that’d work. I’d still rather have it be optional/customisable per post. 🙂
@gilmae I keep cruising ifttt looking for recipes that look useful, but haven’t found any yet. You ever used it?

Now you tell me.
If You’re Always Working, You’re Never Working Well – Michael Harris – Harvard Business Review – Kind of funny reading that after another Sunday night of providing technical support for three hours. 🙁

I think, but I’m not sure, that I managed to get automatic tweeting to happen when I post. Let’s see.

Women in Technology
A former colleague of mine posted about another “Women in Technology” meetup happening this Tuesday over at General Assembly, so I immediately booked a ticket. I know some of the panelists from Girl Geeks, but a few (the guys) are new to me. Should be an interesting event!
Hilariously, I’m developing a reputation at work for being some sort of “champion networker,” as if going to all these events is a thought out career strategy. The reality is that I’m a dorky extrovert married to a misanthropic introvert, so I have to grab social opportunities when I can lest I get turned into a complete hermit. And hey, they usually have free booze.
