I was in a work meeting (in Australia, remember) a few weeks ago when someone went, “Kris, you’re from Indiana, right? WHAT’S UP WITH THAT?” Then there was a 15min discussion about how crazy that law was, and how backwards it seemed, and how they’d all never go there. All I could do was shrug.

What I’m saying is: this PR firm has a LOT of work to do.

  • Loved it.

What if, when Petunia Dursley found a little boy… – This is wonderful. I wonder if fanfic can reclaim Petunia Dursley the way it did Susan Pevensie.

  • Bookmarking.

MeFi: every time he said “you look beautiful,” all I heard is “you look fat” – Got about halfway through the comments and had to stop reading. Damn.

Ooh. Aldi is selling a Singer overlocker. Anybody know if it’s any good? https://t.co/Vgant5sccr @randomknits @zephyrama

@randomknits Only three though. Could just be cranks. I’m tempted to try it out.

@donandcarol Did you buy that one? I’m about to head to Broadway to see if they have stock.

Broadway Aldi has plenty of overlockers. @randomknits @donandcarol http://t.co/JnVeGJhLPS

@zephyrama @randomknits Yep – I went for it! I’ve never had my own. Figure I’ll see if I use it enough to justify a fancier one someday.
