    And somehow I managed to leave my iPad on the plane when we deboarded after sitting on the runway for 2 hours. 😢 Really, really crappy day. Hoping @united finds it quickly…

    @lemon_lime Yes. With hundreds of flights cancelled, the estimated wait time was “40-50 minutes.” And United’s website says to just fill out form and wait. 😩

    @mattstratton I’ve seen from my team that the airport is INSANE. Leave yourself way extra time. I’m heading for the South Shore instead…

    Spent 8 fruitless hours at O’Hare today. The snow started coming down just as I boarded the plane. We ended up sitting on the runway for two hours before eventually heading back for refuelling and more de-icing. They told us we could exit the plane for a bit… and then told us it was cancelled. It took me several more hours to determine that all the flights on Saturday were full, cancel my flight, get my checked bag off the plane, book a hotel room, Uber it all the way back the city… and I just discovered my iPad is missing. Pretty sure it’s in the seatback pocket.

    UPDATE: United just called – they found it!! 😍

    It’s not the most glamorous way to travel, but it’s warm and there’s wifi… and I’m not fighting the crowds at the airport. 🚂❄️

    Time to put all the travel stress behind me…
