BBQ at the lake today! Dad got up early to smoke us some ribs. 😍 We also had the Annual Teasing of Grandma Veva about the fact that Google Streetview has shown her mowing her front lawn for 9 years now. 😂❤️
ROAD TRIP!!!
Four states, 500+ miles, one thunderstorm ⛈️, and a detour because Dad wanted to see the giant Buc-ees gas station. 😂 NEXT STOP SPACE CAMP 🚀 🧑🚀

We tried the AirNZ SkyCouch for the first time ever, flying Auckland to Chicago (14hrs). This is where you book out a row of 3x Economy seats, which have special footrests that flip up and make a flat sort of a bed. It’s a lot cheaper than Premium Economy or Business Class, and you do get to lie flat. That said – it’s a bit tight for two full grown adults. We actually tried it, and we were wedged in so tightly that both of us found our arms were going tingly and poor Rodd’s face was smooshed up against the tray tables. We ended up taking it in shifts – one person sitting up in the aisle seat, with the other curled up on the other two seats with their feet in the sitting person’s lap. (You’re not allowed to block the aisle.) It was still better than sitting up the whole flight. It seemed like a popular option for parents with kids too. Definitely will be doing that one again!
Serenity.
Woot, my knee-jerk don’t-overthink-it pub-quiz answer was Iran which seems to be [✓]. I ‘knew’ it was more populous than…
