OF COURSE Rodd got pulled up by airport security when his carry-on went through the x-ray.

Them: “Sir, what is this solid aluminium cylinder full of gears?”
Him: “That’s my hand coffee grinder.”

They were impressed, of course. Germans love engineering. 😂

We are delayed due to “blizzard ice.” Germany really pulling out all the stops to keep us here!

We are finally boarded, nearly 4hrs delayed. (Take that, blizzard snow!) Munich – we love and miss you already. Europe – you’ve been the best. Thank you for everything. Sydney – get ready. We’re coming home. ❤️🇦🇺

Still in Munich. They are de-icing the wings before we take off, probably six hours late. We are definitely going to miss our connection in Bangkok. Another adventure!! 😂

Final packing and cleaning is happening. We fly back to Australia in just over 24hrs. 😱

Our second-to-last night in Munich, and we finally got to catch up with one of our oldest friends in Germany. ❤️

A perfect snowy winter’s day in Munich for a last bit of Christmas shopping. We had Schmalznudel and Glühwein, and yes, we bought the jacket. ☺️ (AND I FOUND A BUMBLE!!) ❄️🍷🎄

Me: “I wish it would snow before we leave Munich. Is that too much of a miracle to hope for?”

Munich: “Hold my beer.” ❄️☃️❤️

Current status. (Movers turned up at 7:15am on the dot, and they’re nearly finished!)

The movers arrive in just over 9 hours. I think we’re ready. 😰
