Breakfast with a view. Only a little seedy from last night… 😅☕️

We’re not only here for the food! This morning we toured the Royal Palace in Madrid. 🏰

After the palace, a walking tour through the centre of Madrid. We finished at the Prado Museum where we marvelled at Bosch, El Greco, Goya, Velázquez and more… 😍🖼🧑‍🎨 #sotired

TFW you manage to each solve the day’s Semantle puzzle right before your flight takes off… 😅✈️ @ Munich Airport https://t.co/U2Pd7zHEnj

Time to eat our way through Madrid! First up is oxtail gnocchi with truffle for me, homemade pastrami sandwich for the Snook, and an amazing cheesecake with smoked and bleu cheese. 😍 https://t.co/OH8osvVrY8

If you’re wondering if we followed that meal up with a siesta… we did.

Time to eat our way through Madrid! First up is the excellent @paprikamadrid: oxtail gnocchi with truffle for me, homemade pastrami sandwich for the Snook, and an amazing cheesecake with smoked and bleu cheese. 😍

We had a private food tour tonight around the Malasaña neighbourhood of Madrid with Margit from @walkandeatspain, and it honestly felt like an evening catching up with an old friend. She took us to her favorite places for cheese, tapas, vermouth, beer, and wine, and it was all excellent. ❤️ (1/2)

The last few photos from our tour with @walkandeatspain. Muchos gracias, Margit! ❤️ (2/2)

@QuinnyPig @DuckbillGroup Maybe not for you. I’ve attended events and meetups aimed at tech leadership though that looked askance at anyone that didn’t have CTO on their CV, even if only at an obscure startup. Sadly, I think title matters more for those in underrepresented groups.

Blog post! Our 2nd-to-last trip of 2021 was to England and Wales last November, where we revisited old haunts, met up with many friends, ate amazing food, tracked down the Snook’s grandfather’s birthplace, and saw some mind-blowing theater. https://t.co/quzbZZOcMX https://t.co/lBsac78vxr
