Crazy… there was a story in our local paper a few months ago about some cross-country cycling race in the US and how many people die in the process. Basically, riders get so tired they start driving into oncoming traffic or off the road. Bonkers is right! (Perth is one of two places I’ve been in Oz, by the way; it’s very nice).

wow. that makes my 182 mile 2 day journey from houston to austin look soooooo pathetically pale in comparison!
