As luck would have it, I’m booked in for several interesting library and literacy-related events here in Sydney later this month:
- May 19 – NSW Literary Awards at the State Library of NSW. I should add some of those shortlisted books to my reading queue…
- May 20 – Discover Rare Books and Special Collections: Science vs Fiction at Sydney Uni’s Fisher Library. Rare comic books! A first edition of Frankenstein!
- May 21 – Carnegie Series talk: “A living library for now, for the future, for all of us” at Sydney Uni’s Chau Chak Wing Museum. Featuring the NSW State Librarian talking about the role of the library into the future.
Let me know if you’re going to any of these!
