Some with happiness, some with schadenfreude…
- Blackpool hotel staff botch husband’s romantic gesture for wife – LOL, only in England. I probably would have done the same as the hotel staff and sprinkle them like rose petals. Why would you want bags of potato chips scattered all over your bed?!
- “At the local library where they’re having a “Read to Dogs” event…” – How cute is that?! I love it.
- Robot solves Rubik’s cube in 103ms, breaks world record – And it was kids from Purdue! That’s awesome.
- Famed quilt depicting Arkansas lawmaker’s ‘barefoot and pregnant’ speech up for auction – “In 1999, this quilt was selected for inclusion in The Twentieth Century’s Best American Quilts.” Damn straight. Glad to see it sold for double what they estimated.
- Terrorized by Trump: Los Angeles tourism down 61% – I had firsthand experience with this when I flew through last month. It was the first time LAX has actually been pleasant! Should’ve known it was because numbers are way down. I’m sorry for the Angelenos who are being negatively impacted, but nobody wants to go to the US right now.
