    @notsolonecoder @JedWatson @hannahcancode @reactsydney I second that!

    I am at a tech conference where I’ve seen two sessions in a row with Mean Girls “fetch” references. 👏 #lca2018 @hannahcancode @jessfraz https://t.co/7Dgzz15FKw

    @boundvariable I smushed it up in the napkin!

    @boundvariable I lied. Actually I threw the napkin away, THEN remembered I needed it for the photo, so I got ANOTHER napkin to stage it, so now j feel bad for destroying the environment for a stupid joke. 😔

    More good advice for aspiring speakers! Be sure to see the summary on Medium too: https://t.co/ISYh32zx4B #sydtechleaders https://t.co/Y9pkLXbDQ6

    @sauramaia YES. I once spoke to a male dev who’d just interviewed a female candidate and was ambivalent about putting her through to the next round. “You’re on the fence? Put her through. Think about how much more she had to do just to be there.” And he did!

    On a whim, I put my hand up to give a lightning talk about my Scratch game at the Games miniconf on Monday. So fun! It’s the first 5min here: https://t.co/rQg4OltXSl Thanks @The_McJones and @Ducky_Tape for organising. 😄 #lcagm #lca2018

    @hroethgar @sauramaia @ADuckIsMyFiend It would be interesting to see if it happens as frequently at mens’ talks…

    @calculush @betsybookworm @FCTweedie You need to watch @chixors talk on exactly that from the #artandtech miniconf on Tuesday. 😉

    @lucykbain @owensenior Yep! I wrote a post on LinkedIn last night with all the references. Should’ve given you a heads up but it was very late. 😂

    Did you ever have one of those nightmares where people are speaking to you quickly in a language that sounds like English but isn’t? 😢 #krislearnsfp

    Overall today was 60% 😊, 40% 😢. Unfortunately I ended on 😭. Now at home being comforted by Petey. #krislearnsfp https://t.co/ugQ076Km2S

    @boundvariable @200ok Same thing happened to Rodd. Employer got him out of it a couple times, eventually went, got dismissed after a day.

    Kinokuniya have Harry Potter trivia for grown-ups Feb 1. Teams of 5. THIS IS NOT A DRILL. WHO IS WITH ME? I will even accept Hufflepuffs. 😉 @i386

    @boundvariable I am following instructors’ advice to play games and watch Netflix. Just need to reset. It’s a LOT of material in 3 days.

    @nothergeek Thank you. ❤️

    @Mandy_Kerr I am literally going to look at this tomorrow when I get frustrated. ❤️

    @i386 YES?! We got 2 then. Who else do we know who is a giant HP nerd?!

    @i386 @sundress @ahhhninny @lucykbain That’s five!!

    @i386 @sundress @ahhhninny @lucykbain I suspect, dear Hufflepuff, that the quiz will be about the BOOKS given that it’s held in a BOOK STORE. 😜

    @i386 @sundress @ahhhninny @lucykbain Oh sure. Team name suggestions? I like “Holyhead Harpies.”

    RT @Mandy_Kerr: We’re running a @gdcfpday! Even if you think you have nothing to share come along, we’ll help you figure it out! https://t.…

    If you count me as the organiser, Art + Tech is 50:50 men/not-men. 😉 #lca2018 https://t.co/vibpZoziPc

    @goknurginer Sounds like a perfect fit for YOW! Data too. We’re looking for speakers now, incidentally… Fancy a trip back to Sydney in May? 🙂

    When doing battle with a beast like Haskell, it can’t hurt to armour up like an Amazonian. #krislearnsfp https://t.co/xZsxm2W6B2

    Day 2 starts with @dibblego congratulating those of us who survived and returned. 😂 https://t.co/tkRmqk8wrI

    @starbuxman Unfortunately it’s a one-off, since I made it myself from a pattern I hacked. 😊

    @starbuxman Fabric was from a US craft store though – Joann’s I think?

    @starbuxman If you can find the fabric, I’ll make you one. 🙂
