    CoachPRS has recorded an excellent video about forefoot versus heel striking, especially with regards to overpronators. (*cough* SNOOK! *cough*) He shows exactly how the movements and strikes differ, and how the forefoot striking can benefit you.

  • This weekend vs. next weekend

    This weekend or next weekend? Ahh, the dreaded “this” vs. “next” debate. Contrary to what Kelly McMahon and the Snook would have you believe…

    “Next weekend” always occurs after “this weekend”. It never occurs before it. Since “this weekend” is never in the past, that means that “next weekend” will occur a week after the “this [forthcoming] weekend.” Anybody who thinks that “next weekend” is less than a week away is forgetting that “this weekend” exists.

    Started my Monday with a marathon 3-hour meeting that systematically destroyed a 20+ page spec. FML.

    Best follow-up to 3hr meeting is realizing you’re sick and having to rush home to take antibiotics ASAP. This sucks and I feel like crap.
