    Someone gifted me a vintage Lutterloh pattern drafting kit many years ago. I’ve never used it, but it’s super clever. Based on tiny drawings, a few measurements, and an included ruler, you can draft hundreds of different outfits for sewing. The kit is still made today and they produce modern pattern supplements, but mine dates from 1981. (“Printed in West Germany”!😳) Despite that, most of the women’s outfits are surprisingly stylish and not dated, and you could wear them today easily. However, my kit also includes a “men’s supplement,” and it’s a sad testament to how boring cis masculine fashion is nowadays. I went on a spree on Mastodon today sharing some of my favorites…


    Proof that I remain a somewhat capable adult: I made cornbread and chili (both from scratch) for dinner, and I executed a flawless parallel park that my father would be proud of, in full view of a large crowd of people. 👩‍🍳🚗
