    First finished knitting project in ages! Easy Eyelet Yoke Lite in Hobbii Twister (cotton/acrylic). Colour is, appropriately, β€œJungle.” Details going up on Rav shortly…

    First two sewing projects with the new machine! 3.5 inches cut off and hemmed on one pair of pants, and another pair converted into shorts.

    Schitt’s Creek Season 6 is premiering soon… Anybody in Australia know how we can watch other than waiting for it to hit Netflix in 8 months?? @glenngillen

    @mrembach @glenngillen My luck with VPNs for US shows has run out – they seem to get blocked within a day. If you know of any that aren’t, please DM me!

    These are not the quick replies that I need, @LinkedIn. 😠 How about β€œF**k off”? Or better yet, auto-detect these and save me the trouble of typing β€œLinkedIn is not a dating site.” https://t.co/nDrC5ulLoO

    @randomknits Reminds me of one of my fave books as a kid! https://t.co/MlC3d1TVvV

    @randomknits @unlikelylibrary I should mention (if you haven’t read it), that one of the kids writes “HELP I’M A PRISONER IN THE LIBERRY” on a note.

    @AnthonyRees It’s just microaggressions. A lot of people have to deal with a lot worse, I know, but you get tired of dealing with it over and over and over. πŸ™

    For years we’ve avoided donating to the Salvos whenever possible, even their Op Shops. Give your charity $$ to the Red Cross or otheres who don’t pick and choose who they help based on religion. https://t.co/wYoAjJJaGM

    @MingJohanson I know, but it really shouldn’t be on us to educated every idiot in the world.

    For my family and friends overseas wondering about the fires… We are very fortunate in that the worst we’ve had to deal with is smoke and crappy air quality. There are a lot of folks who are a lot worse off. The firefighters are volunteers who are underfunded and underresourced, and they’ve been working for weeks. Homes and lives have been lost, and wildlife has been decimated. And temperatures are forecast to be well over 100F across a lot of the country this weekend. πŸ™

    @mmastertheone Oh wow! The comics are pretty weird. I haven’t read very many of them.

    @minxdragon I haven’t. Is it good??

    Even with everything literally on fire, there are still good things. Not only is there a new 2019 @bootiemashup, the intro samples Schitt’s Creek! LA LA LA LA LA LA LA… A LITTLE BIT BOOTIE πŸŽ΅πŸ’ƒ https://t.co/W19lPIXKg5 https://t.co/rHRuoIElq4

    TS Eliot’s hidden love letters reveal intense, heartbreaking affair // Reminds me of β€œPossession” – I should re-read. I thought this story was romantic at first, but TSE comes off sounding like a real manipulator. πŸ˜• https://t.co/9Lv5Jt4CiG

    @claudiajayne_ Her bit at the end about him being very very persistent for literally years and her trying to keep it platonic. Yes, she eventually admitted she loved him… and then he didn’t marry her. And he said if he did he couldn’t be a poet anymore. Like, wtf.

    @claudiajayne_ I mean, I love a good romance story full of pining. (If you haven’t read A.S. Byatt’s Possession, you should!) But in this particular real life example, the ending suuuuuucked.

    …and I just bought The French Lieutenant’s Woman on Kindle. Never read it before. Perhaps this will help break my Good Omens fanfic addiction.
