A-HA! I was all confused last week because the episode of Queer Eye for the Straight Guy that we saw wasn’t listed on any of the show’s websites. Turns out – based on this TWoP discussion – that we Aussies actually lucked out and saw an episode that hasn’t aired in the US yet! Pretty sweet. This week’s episode was our “series finale”, which was the one with Psycho Girlfriend Lisa. Man, that Blair guy really was pretty useless. Can anybody fill me in on the situation with him? Did they fire him and hire Jai?

Yup, apparently Blair didn’t ‘gell’ with the rest of the guys. I think he actually is suing them at the moment. I love the Lisa episode!!!! Can you say controlling girlfriend?

A couple people in that discussion I linked were saying that they’d broken up… Good for him! My favorite part of the episode was when Rodd looked over and said sheepishly: “I have an ex-girlfriend teddy bear.”
Me: GASP! Where?
Him: Back at my parents place somewhere. It’s obscene.
Me: What, like the penis bear?
Him: No, like a teddy bear holding a gigantic red heart that says “I Wuv You”.
Me: BWA HA HA HA HA!

Yeah, Blair was gone after the first episode–I think most people would agree that the whole “Culture Guy” thing is kind of useless. I mean, who doesn’t know how to shake hands or that going to a Broadway show would be a nice date?
Jai does wear some cool clothes, though…

QEFTSG is one of the few shows we like to watch together, which essentially boils down to the fact that when we aren’t taking wardrobe and grooming notes for himself, we’re ripping poor little jai to shreds. 😉
