Weirdness. I’m on a new project so I just got moved back to the other office today. As my old desk was taken, I had to take the remaining empty spot… right next to Snookums. Which basically means that we’ll be spending 24 hours a day within four feet of each other. A bit much? What do you think?

sounds like a pretty good deal to me! if i were in your shoes, and J. in Snook’s, i’d be more concerned about him. he gets all weird when i’m trying to concentrate or do work around the house. i’m sure he’d get used to it pretty quickly, and lord knows i’ve gotten too good at tuning him out…
i think it sounds wonderful, lady! have fun with it. 🙂

Cindy – I haven’t heard from you before. Thanks for responding! I think it’s going to work out okay. Previously we’ve worked on the same floor but across the office from each other, so really it’s just a question of magnitude. Once we’ve both got our headphones on, we might as well be in our own little coding worlds anyway.
As for my dad… My dad’s pretty cool. I think he enjoys being “Cool Dad.” (I had a hell of a time convincing him last week that Snookums and I would be fine sleeping on his living room floor and that we weren’t going to take his room, no matter how he insisted.) 🙂
