    I was hopeful last year that the Republicans might actually get residency-based taxation into their tax bill, but of course they screwed that up. Every year as I pay an accountant to file two complicated tax returns, I think about this option. (And this year it will be three returns…)

    Saw this in the supermarket yesterday and immediately bought it. It cheered me up. At least I’m in the right hemisphere to celebrate decorative gourd season, mf-er. ❤️

    We used to share firefighting helicopters with the US, but the fire seasons are getting longer to the point where they overlap. The sky and smoke in January in downtown Sydney was enough to scare me overseas to literally greener pastures. I can’t imagine what this summer will bring.
