Landscaping update! The stairs are finished, and the stone pavers are being laid. They’ve also put in pads that will support the floating deck. Out the back, they’ve built a new retaining wall that will have built-in seating. I was excited to see some of the corten steel planters have arrived too! I just keep reminding myself that there will eventually be a LOT of plants that will fill in the gaps and turn it into a green oasis. ❤️🌱🌴🌳

Mending day! A couple of our jumpers had worn holes and needed fixing. I’ve watched heaps of those videos of invisible darning, so I gave it a shot. I used sewing thread to provide a scaffolding and then Swiss darned over the top. Very pleased with the results! Hardly noticeable. 😍🧶

I finished it! This is the Easy Eyelet Yoke Lite in my reclaimed @hobbii_yarn Twister. Such a fun knit, and really suits this yarn. ❤️🧶

“Huevos al vapor” – I made @kenjilopezalt’s “steam eggs” using the Snook’s espresso machine steam wand. Yes, I managed to gunk up up the wand and I’ll have to figure out how to de-egg it. But wow, texture on these is *lovely*, and it took less than 1 minute. 😍🥚
