Need some help! My Dad’s wife Cindy is a landscape designer who’s going into business for herself. She’s trying to come up with a catchy name for the business. Any ideas?

Ok, the first thing I thought of was “Green Cindy’s”. Dorky, yes. But think of the questions-“Why is she green?” “WTF, man!”Dorky, yes. But then again, today is a free day–I’m in a Nyquil-induced delirium. SORRY!

  2. Hey, it’s better than anything I’ve come up with so far! 🙂 Now go to bed and get some sleep, sickie!

  3. Thats funny because Green was her last name growing up. 🙂

  4. How ’bout the Queen of Green? Dream ‘Scapes? Bushwhackers probably wouldn’t be sending the right message, eh?

  5. No way! I didn’t know she was Cindy Green! (Out of curiosity, is she keeping her current last name or did she switch to yours?)

Hahahaha… Bushwhackers. Actually, that name would ROCK. I would definitely hire that company.

  6. i guess an important question is what is her target customer? fancy pants people or just regular folks? i don’t know that upper crusties appreciate word play as much as the rest of us unwashed masses. 😉

  8. Ok, so today i feel ALOT better, and looking back I can not BELIEVE that I put Green Cindy’s as my choice! I actually think it’s cute. Way cuter now that I know her last name used to be green.

How about she names it after the class that she’s going after? Like “Upper Class Landscaping” or “Lower Income Landscaping?” Maybe “Subsidized Housing Landscaping”…..sorry, maybe not the last one.. 🙂

  9. At this point she has left her last name as it was, i told her it was up to her cuse i didnt mind one way or the other. She did say we could use the Howard name for the business, but I have yet to come up with a catchy name.

  10. How about “When Bush Comes to Shove” or “Leave it to Me”? Bwa-ha ha haaaAAAA! I’ll be here all week.

  11. Sheesh. Comedians. 🙂

  12. Erm I bet you’re surprised I ain’t stepped in with some smartass replies so far 😉

How about plain and simple ones like:

    Green Sleeves
    Green Fingers

Or are those names to common.

If it was a romantic flower shop then “Tulips are better than one.”

My mind has gone blank on other funny shop names.

One of a friend’s brother was into landscape gardening mainly making fountains and his surname was Gordon so he ended up called the company, “Splash Gordon.”
