Secret confession: Not only have I been watching Scrubs… I have a total crush on John McGinley. Yeah, he played Bob Slydell in Office Space (the Micheal Bolton fan). I can’t help it! He’s really, like, muscular and funny and stuff! And he’s constantly ripping on the main character, who I find annoying and odd-looking. Yes, I am a John McGinley fan.

Heh. I think that’s the only show I ever watch on a regular basis. I like the wimpy main character… He’s totally cute in a squidgy sort of way. 🙂

Scrubs is the first good show to follow Friends since Friends followed Sienfeld. I don’t know what’s up with McGinley’s curls this season, though.

Everyone relax–Scrubs is so not cancelled. NBC loves the show (good ratings, critics love it, no high-priced stars, etc.)–and they’re for sure not going to give up on the next potential long-running series now that Friends and Frasier are wrapping up.

It’s not so bad. I just think that the first few episodes – which are all we’ve seen so far – have been, like, trying really hard. I mean, yeah, I get it. He’s like Ally McBeal. You don’t have to show me somebody literally “digging their own grave” or “acting as your father figure” every ten seconds.
But it’s got Murray from “Clueless”, which is good. And John McGinley, who I luuuurrrrve. I’ll keep watching. 🙂
